Myles Rempel

Ch.F.C., CLU, CFSB

Myles Rempel graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance in 1984. He entered the financial services industry after graduation and has been directly serving clients since. He is currently president of the Disability Insurance Group and manager of the Ten Star Insurance Brokers Inc. branch in Calgary which he owns with his partner, Harold. He is a mutual fund representative with Investia Financial Services.

In order to better serve his clients he has achieved his Chartered Life Underwriter designation, Chartered Financial Consultant designation and Chartered Financial Services Broker designation. He served for seven years as the director for Alberta for the Independent Financial Brokers of Canada organization.

Myles takes a team approach in helping clients and when necessary draws on his network of advisors and professionals in various disciplines to ensure his clients get the best planning advice possible. Myles areas of expertise include building investment portfolios, and estate preservation for individuals, families and corporations.

Myles endeavors to take the same well-balanced approach to life that he advocates for his clients. In his off time he enjoys traveling with his family, working on his yard and garden, and participating in a range of physical activities.

Harold Riley

CFSB, CFP®

Harold Riley started his financial services career in 1984 with Paul Revere Life Insurance as a disability income specialist.

He currently owns and manages the Ten Star Insurance Brokers Inc. branch in Calgary along with his partner, Myles, and is a director of the Disability Insurance Group.

Over the years he has expanded his practice to include all the aspects of financial planning and serves as advisor to over 1000 clients. To assist his clients he has also developed a network of 19 companies and organizations, as well as outside consultants and specialists.

Harold has kept up to date with continuing education to stay current with the needs of his clients. He has achieved the difficult Certified Financial Planner (C.F.P.) designation which requires annual education courses to maintain and has a strict code of professional conduct. He has also been accredited with the Chartered Financial Service Broker (CFSB) designation.

Harold’s leisure time involves working on home improvement projects, family activities, traveling and the collection and breeding of rare and exotic freshwater fish.
